At first opening, not that great. After a short while, it began to develop and continued to do so for the next two hours following decanting. Although this wine is certainly drinkable now (with decanting strongly recommended), I think it needs a few more years in the bottle. I drank this last night, and I wish I had posted the TN then, more detailed. Nevertheless, a very good bottle now, but I suspect a better one in a few years.

Opaque crimson color. Aromas of milk chocolate, blackberry and cassis, with a subtle smoky/meaty quality. Flavors of currants, pomegranate and berries.
