So beautiful and so pure. This wine is like a liquid sweet red candy sprinkled with a Vosne spices. So damn pretty. This wine reaffirms that I like Sylvain > Sebastian's wines and that Cathiard RSV is probably the best RSV in the world (i have not tried Leroy's)

Heavy wood and vanilla on the nose. Whiffs of heat on the backnose that were somewhat disconcerting. Ripe on the palate and still reasonable tannins. Time might help somewhat but the acid structure was somewhat underwhelming.

This definitely required a few minutes to open up, but once it did it was lights out. So pretty!

Alvin 2002. Stem aromatics. Concerningly maturing palate.

JM shareholders. Creamy, oak still there. Much weightier than DRC.
