Hand picked, bunch pressed, barrel fermented with wild yeast and 12 months on lees in old French oak. Yellow-straw colour. With air, nose has toffee, mandarin zest, and pineapple. Palate is rich and full, rounded with fruits (peach and pineapple), toasted nuts and smooth acidity, with a very long caramel finish. Superb Chardonnay, worth ageing, still going strong at 10 years.

This is definitely Premier Cru quality. Very burgundy. Color is golden and a taste of oak and fruit, with a feel of butterscotch. It is not too late to enjoy but I don't think it will improve much more.

Nice complexity on the nose , tropical fruits , grilled nectarine and more on the palate ,excellent balance between fruit and tannins, and a clean acidity keeps it crisp, cashew nuts and a silky feel on the long finish Overall only 40% MLF which provides a nice crispness to the wine almost Chablis like . No hurry to drink the up
Winemaking Hand-picked fruit was whole bunch pressed in a Willmes membrane press. Unsettled juice was fully barrel fermented in Burgundy barriques (22% new) using indigenous yeasts. Lees stirring was employed for enhancing complexity and vinosity. Fermented 15-20 oC. Malo-lactic inoculation for all barrels and Malo-lactic (ML) ferment stopped at appropriate flavour and balance; for this vintage around 40% ML. Aged in barrel on lees for 9 months.

Funky reduced nose. Rich palate with nice minerality but lacking complexity. Rich and fresh but pretty and down. Nothing to write home about
