  • Found an old bottle (2007) of this wine. Decanted for an hour. Very light in taste, even for a Pinot. Slightly acidic grape juice would be my best description. A hint of raspberry and cherry. Somewhat dry mouthfeel.

  • My last bottle of a case purchased late last year. This wine has been fairly consistent, with this bottle perhaps just a tough better and less rough than the previous one with a tasting not from a few months ago.

  • Nice value ($10 range) wine in a challenging vintage. Lots of red cherry and raspberry. Good acidity as well. Perhaps a bit rough on the finish. Kept getting better over the course of a few hours, so I'd suggest decanting.

  • Harsh acid on day one: slightly heady, bilic, rough, ungenerous, Lutheran bastard of a wine. 79 pts max. Definitely needs some fat as a buffer if you wish to "go there". Day 3: mini Jesus act as the acid has somehow dissipated, slight oxidization on the nose in the meantime which is still far more manageable than the mouth full o' bile that was day one. Somehow, in spite of the slight oxidation it's acquired, it's far more classic Pinot Noir. It's actually approachable and--dare I say?--slightly pleasant. Feel as if I missed the golden window which may have been day 2. Will try this with a different bottle. Glad I got this at less than $10/bott. Would certainly not recommend at $20-30. Can't really say for sure if bottle age will help, in spite of this multi-day experiment which yielded fruit and suggests it would.

Also, Sylvain or Becky--on the outside chance you're reading this--please change your label. Everyone I've spoken with is a bit terrified by its craptasticness. You'll sell more wine if you add just a touch of aesthetics.
