Medium golden offering nose of yeast and himt of floral note. Fresh in mouth with ample zestiness while acidity bit low and relatively sweet. Elegant style without hard edges ending with a typical Pinot spicy note.

Vintage Champagne: Magnum disgorged in 1999. Quite a lot of bubbles for a 25 y.o. Champagne. Medium- body, metallic and mineral, meat, citrus, lots of white fruits on the nose as well. Develops notes of walnuts. Feels quite young and fresh. Liked it much more than previous time.

5 decades of Champagne (Riga): Magnum, disgorged in 1999. Quite fresh and open. Nose of meat, boiled beef tongue. Interesting sweet and sour finish of quince. Empty midpalate, classic and straightforward but a bit simplistic. (B-)

Very eggy, dirty, quite a poor wine.
