Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • The colour is not for the faint of the heart: Almost the color of rust - red with light brown and almost orange shades. Barnyardy nose, mixed with red currant. Also a bit cloudy. Clean on the palate, red currant, high toned and juicy. High acidity. Light to medium weight but quite structured. Medium long finish. Needs food but attractive and thirst quenching. Gained flesh on the second day and calmed down a bit but also showed some small signs of oxidation. A very ecclectic wine but very good. Drink or hold.
