Bretty to the point of being quite unpleasant when first opened, but blew off by 2nd night. Well balanced, good acid. Tannins mellowed out, but still a little chewy.

Was invited by a good friend and by accident he served the same wine as we had yesterday at home. Decanted two hours before dinner. Similar nose as the bottle yesterday but with more concentration and structure and all in all much better, seems as there is some bottle variation as the treatment was the same.

Decanted two hours before dinner. On the nose warm, tertiary notes underlaid with fruit (prune), on the palate smooth, low to medium acidity, medium bodied and long finish. At its peak and very nice now, but better drink it soon, it does not have the structure for further improvements.
