  • A delicious wine. Color is a murky translucent red. Nose shows amazing complexity with spice, rose, fruit and even a touch of cigar. Palate opens up nicely with a bit of encouragement via the decanter and gives nice spicy dark fruit elements with well balanced acidity and a great finish. One of the better bottles of wine I've had from the Les Suchots vineyard.

  • insanely young, beautiful floral nose but the palate is not giving up much beyond typical vosne fruit. Hold for awhileeeeee

  • A little woody at first but morphs into something quite beautiful with air. The sappy, camphor notes are joined by dark currant and plum fruits. It seems to become perceptively sweeter with a more intense, highly fragrant aroma as it breathes. The nostrils are enveloped with aniseed and cardamom spices along with sexy perfumed fruits. The texture is lacy but there is real substance of earthy and mineral things lying just beneath the surface. There is still just a touch of wood tannin on the back-end but it does not detract from this tasty over-all package. The one main problem with this and many other 99’s is that the bottle is at least 250ml too small.
