Very disappointing. Very deep golden robe so I was afraid this was going to be totally oxidized. While this wasn't the case (maybe a very light touch), the wine was flat and muted. Not much aromatics even on day 2. Oh well..

Light lemon gold. Piercing tart apple cider nose, clean, barely oxidized citrus and pommes palate, little or no wood. The apple is back for a long winey finish. Distinctly chardonnay with a roaring personality, sophisticated but not especially elegant.

My favorite Jura white because it combines all of the elements with a great elegance. After trying many other Jura whites, I wouldn't call Puffeney's Chard "richly oxidative." I enjoyed it a lot more on the second night.

Unusual Chardonnay. Typical of Arbois wines. Dry and thin.

Wow, this is something else. (Intentionally) richly oxidized. Very strange stuff. I really don't know what to think.
