Pop and pour at a restaurant. Well after-the-fact, but recall being very pleased with this wine, when bottles consumed 3-5 years ago had been a comparative let-down.

Very inky, high extract boysenberry fruit with cassis, still relatively young but softer tannins than previous bottle openned, I enjoyed this bottle a little more, maybe having it following a less impressive 2000 Beringer Third Century Cab Franc made this bottle better

Much like previous tastings, high extract, chewy, rich bosenberry/blackberry fruit with cassis flavors, tannins softer, probably at its peak
