Aromas of oak and dark ripe fruit. The dominant flavor is the oak, but it is still in balance. The finish is of moderate length, starting with the oak and ending with some nice complexity. A very enjoyable wine (if you like oak). Give it a few more years, and then pair with beef.

Full-bodied wine presenting a deep granate red color in glass. Hints of blackberry and chocolate. Round in mouth, with balanced tannins and a long finish.

Very nicely balanced with dark fruit, baking spice, tobacco, and coffee. Still drinking well on day 2.
