  • This was an amazing bottle. Granted it was well cellared and a blend they make only in better years. But it showed beautiful fruit, with bright cherry contrasting with subtle barnyard notes. A lovely, long silky finish. This wine punches way above its price. Outstanding, if you can find it.

  • It was five years ago that Dulcie convinced me that PNW pinot was a perfect match for grilled salmon with a Lemelson PN, a new experience for me at that point (confession). Later that same year we visited the self-same vintner and purchased this bottle. Naturally we consumed it with a (King) salmon, perfectly grilled by Dulcie. I think '02 was a good year in the valley because most of that vintage I have had have been very good; not too hot so the grapes were not cooked, as in some later years, notably '03. This greets one with a definitive Burgundian barnyard aroma, very fine; the color a typical dark cherry red. On the palate some leather and smoke, smooth and balanced dark cherry, no sharpness but decent acidity. Glad we discovered it.

  • This was enjoyed by Sonny, Linda, Snitz and I on Easter Sunday at Sonny and Linda's house. Incredible rich fruit flavors and a wonderful long finish. This Lemelson is probably one of my favorites from the winery. Excellent! Nice ruby red, notes of cherry, spicecake and coffee on the nose. Black cherry, cola and some coffee notes on the palate. Nice mouthfeel and medium to long finish.

  • This is a very pleasant if not overly complex wine. Garnet in color with no bricking. Lovely nose if not particularly distinctive. Light to medium body. Very dry. Good flavor with a slightly bitter aftertaste.

  • This bottle was in steep competition the evening we enjoyed it, after a French Chambertin and a Brian Loring we finished with this offering from Lemelson. After many high hopes for Eric's mre upscale wines, this was one that really stepped up to exceed my expectations. Deep purple and rich in texture and feel, this wine was lucious and right in your face. The fruit downplayed any alcohol content and this was filled with red fruit and milk chocolate. A true pleasure as it quickly disappeared.
