Had 2 bottles to be sure, found it lacking in character and closed. There is a good hint at structure but no life in the glass. Decanted for 1.5 hours before consumption.

Bordeaux Update (Wine Exchange - Orange, CA): Pretty and straightforward with aromas of red currant, berries, and tobacco. The palate offers detailed earthen laced fruit matched with firm yet balanced tannins. Trails a little bit at the finish but a solid effort for this price point.

Very close on smell, just a little bit of plum & grass, even I put all in a decanter. Taste very boring, light but un-soft tannin, Stringy, just little a V.d.P. Long but stalky finish come along with you.
Not my favour

On opening, Very dark red; Nose: first impression is of light oak, forward in nose, followed by distinct fruit aromas. Earthy and fresh in the mouth. Cabernet flavors chased by french oak and soft tannins. Very good balance for so young a wine. Distinctly from Bordeaux. At 33$ it is a good value and I recommend it. Will let it breathe then serve tonight with beef-vegetable soup - extra thick. This is my second bottle of this wine: I like this even better than the first.

Similar to Badfish's March 6 notes, except I'm not sure the value is there. Well enough structured to last another 5 years or more.
