2008 FX Pichler Tasting (Red Slate, Portland, Oregon): The nose is full, showing bright peaches, lemon/lime scents and some minerality. It's got a feeling of spring to it, and it seems like some clover scents show as well. Clean and clear apples show on the palate with citrus zest. Rich red apple peels show later. The acidity is balanced, smooth, and bright and it runs out on the finish along with the apple and apple peel flavors. 89-

Nice herb infused nose is accompanied by dense smokey mineral tones. Much like the first time I had this, it was light on its feet with nice minerality and delicate acid. Don't think this is GV with a long life, but it was a nice pairing with grilled lemon chicken and green beans.

Ripe lemon, green apple, and white pepper nose. Minerally, tart lime palate.
