  • Beautiful wine, from the perfectly ripened fruit to the fine point of vanilla bean-infused cherry and other field berries. Has a late-summery evening feel about it, calm, easy, with the air perfumed with dark flowers, tarragon and a host of garden herbs. Sure, a very modern-styled wine, but a very well- done one at that. Drink now-2012. Food pairing: lamb chops with herbs

  • Started out as a very fruit forward, kinda new world-styled wine but some time in the glass opened up for a goodie bag of provincial herbs, especially peppermint, pepper, roast coffee and little bit of toffee. Some of the best value I have ever come across for ten bucks and an excellent choice for roasted pork that doesn't empty your pockets or leave you unsatisfied. Looking forward to trying the consecutive vintage of this under-the-radar wine!
