Rusty brown hints in a somewhat lighter red hue. Leather and dark berry nose. A hint of vanilla as well. Light with mild tannins. The leather continues into the taste. Pleasant and much lighter overall than expected.

Slightly bigger, rounder and fruitier than I thought it would be for some reason. Short of an all out fruit bomb for sure, but the merlot is evident. 20 min glass decant and this was off to the races. Prob benefit from a couple more years under cork.

Ok. Good value drinking cab. Bit jammy for my liking - not a lot of finesse in there - but serves its purpose if no one's likely to swill or worry too much

Margaret River wines on tour in Sydney (Custom House, Circular Quay, Sydney): Cheese, funky, leather and barn over slightly brambly fruit, cream, spice and slight bonfire note. In the mouth there is jammy black fruit and spice, medium plus fine tannin, a little warm on the finishes that introduces slightly leather notes
