Better than the previous showing from this bottle. No sign of tiredness and there is a lovely purity of fruit on the palate along with a really attractive minerality. More of a cherry tone to the fruit. Plenty of verve. I think my last bottle must have been faulty, this is lovely if not one to keep for a lot longer.

Seemingly DOA on opening, with no nose and virtually no fruit on the tongue. Kept the faith and after three hours the nose finally gave off hard-won scents of red berry, violets, alluvial mud, and camphor. At that point the palate liberated layers of red raspberry, molecular iron, brier, and beef blood. Firm tannin and bright acidity. Longer finish of red fruit, iron flecks, powdery earth, and bits of sauvage. Ended up showing well. Advise a lengthy decant.

Earth and dark bramble fruit on the nose. A touch of vanilla. Fresh mid-weight palate with more of that brambly fruit and nice refreshing acidity. A delicious, balanced, gentle wine, typical of a vintage I am really starting to like.

Vraiment magnifique!

Consistent with previous note. I think this needs drinking up though.
