The color is very dark, similar to tea. The flavors are fantastic, with notes of bruleed sugar, baked apples, some apricot, and cinnamon. Quite sweet but with a nice acid backbone that keeps the wine from being cloying. It's hard to tell if it's fully mature at this point but it's clearly got at least 10-15 years of life ahead of it. Wish I had more.

Beautiful deep amber color. Powerful nose with caramel, oily texture. Honeylike in the mouth, too cloying to be enjoyable. Drank one glass and that was enough for the evening...
Superbe robe ambre sombre. Nez puissant caramélisé, texture huileuse. Du miel en bouche, trop écoeurant pour être agréable. Bu un verre et ce fut assez pour la soirée...

Deep copper. Rich, caramel, some burnt sugar bitterness. Obvious oxidation. Seemed tired. Unfortunately, far from the previous excellent example I had in January.

Hard to make out the color in the dimly lit restaurant but it looked almost copper. Certainly it was rather deep. Nose was a bit muted but the flavor was explosive. Candied fruits, honey, rich and syrupy. Silky smooth with great balance making it surprisingly easy to drink. Not at all cloying. Excellent and by far the best Vin de Table I've ever had!
