Like the typical Morot wines of the 80's, this takes patience, the big burgundy glass and proper food and it will reward the traditionalist. Good burg weight and balance. My understanding is that these Greves vines are a very small parcel and were quite old before being torn up and replaced soon after this vintage. This does not scream old vines although, in the context of the vintage, it is an excellent wine. I like the old Morots - in the 90s, they started to use more oak and they lost their finesse. This wine is of the old school.
