Lean and elegant, classic Amoureuses proportions, though showing pretty young for its age - it's lightly perfumed but fairly quiet aromatically, the palate still fresh red fruits and showing off that Chambolle limestone, very tactile with that crushed stony minerality. It doesn't show much aged savoriness, though - you enjoy this one primarily for its graceful touch.

Red Burgundy Tasting (Lafayette, Ca.): Light. plum color in the glass, rich fruit, nice nose, rich fruit on the palate, bacon shows, lots of rich fruit, long finish, needs three years to peak.
