Appearance: Bright and clear, deep ruby with paler rims and legs. Nose: Clean, medium intensity, with developing aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, plum, liquorice, cloves, smoke and violet. Palate: Dry, with medium (+) acidity and medium tannin, bitter yet fine-grained. Medium alcohol, with medium body and medium (-) intensity flavors of blackberry, plum, liquorice, smoke and cedar. Medium (-) length. Conclusion: Acceptable quality mid-range Bordeaux with a reasonably intense nose of reasonable complexity. However, the palate is fairly light and simple, with only a fairly short length. Overall it is of good balance though. Ready to drink now but can benefit from further ageing of another 1-2 years.

From half bottle, very good classic bordeaux. Round, soft tannins and no need to decant. Ready to drink.

Full and mature red fruit flavours, good tannin and balanced bite, endures long especially when served aerated. Very much enjoyed.

Dark garnet, garnet rim. Woody oak, earth, slight floral aspect with leather. Dusty tannins, med acidity, good balance.

Decent Margaux nose, medium bodied wine, not much experience in this vintage. Good color medium finish.
