A 'wow' wine for me. I bought this at the winery in 2004 after a wonderful tour by the owner/winemaker, who was obviously a very passionate producer. Drinking ver well now, with layer upon layers of flavour. My partner said it was like food - that is, it was very rich and powerful, but not over the top. Had that classic cashew/nut flavour on the finish that I associate with Mornington Penninsula chardonnays too. I'm not a big New World chardonnay fan, but this wine was lovely (A-/A).

BBQ at Graham's (Graham's roof, Hong Kong): Nose was showing a little age and filling out with some browned butter notes. Lovely structure still with plenty to keep this going.
