Bricking red. Tart and sweet nose with a whiff of we earth, that dissipated relatively quickly. Initial taste was the best after gentle decanting -- evolved to tart cherries, raspberries and plums. A bit of raisin in the short finish. Second best bottle of the lot, so far.

Best bottle of hte lot thus far. No trace of aging at the rim. Delicate, floral nose. Developed well in the glass. Hints of orange and chocolate with cinnamon, currant and candied fruit. Not a lot of acid and the finish is relatively short, but a nice example of an (accidentally?) aged village wine.

Pretty deep crimson. Some stewed fruits on the nose. A bit tart, some cranberry, raspberry and orange zest. Again, not spectacular wine.

Pinot Dinner: On the downward slope this was still a very good wine. Earth and mineral flavors, with silky finish.

Nice village wine that was apparently accidentally aged. Some flashes of greatness, but just very good.
