At this point this seems to be fading quickly. Marked decline while in the glass. Slight hazelnut but with the negative lean, winey, oxidized apple, slight lemon. Almost just a ghost of the freshness and precision that is Chablis hallmark. Should have been consumed years ago.

Loved the price point on this wine and it's lean lemony style. 6-12 months ago I thought this wine would age well for 5+ years, but the last few bottles opened recently were starting to oxidize fairly rapidly. Already a lean wine, the fruit is starting to drop out further... butterscotch notes increasing...

France 2011 - Côte d'Or; 7/8/2011-7/13/2011 (Beaune): Tasted at the Domaine. Complex nose of citrus, floral and minerals. In the mouth this has great acidity with loads of mineral and citrus flavours. A very straight and focused wine which finishes crisp and fairly long. Shows lots of Chablis typicity. Drinks great now and should develop for 5+ years no problem. Very good. 89+

Popped and poured at cellar temp. A little straw, minerals, and faint citrus on the nose. Lemon/lime, some saltiness, a bit of oak. Good acidity, medium-weight. Bright and refreshing, with a decent length on the finish which continues the lemon/salt combo. Not blowing any minds, but balanced and classy. Solid.

Given the age, this wine was rounder and less minerally than when it was first released. More tropical fruit, creamy texture and delicious.
