Aromatic, flavourful, elegant and round with a creamy texture. Light on its feet like a ballerina but much like a ballerina this delivers a proper performance. A superb sake.

Beautiful juicy Muskmelon and cantaloupe with a smooth and milky dairy note. Loved it and still can't think of what food to pair it with as it is perfect on it's own to sip and savor.

By the 300ml bottle and the sommelier at Shuko in NY gave it the respect due and served it in Zaalto universal. We believe Zaalto white would have been a better focus tool for this amazing Sake. The title " The Gate" is on the fitting side as this kimoto. This is probably among the most aromatic sakes we have come across with notes of peach and a exotic toiches, light toffee at times. Delicious on the palate, softy and silky but also firm and with layers of flavour . This would have been a 95+ if we rated sake. Top level here.
