Decanted for 30 minutes. Color is dark red to the edge. Nose is rich but a little "hot" and a little plummy, probably due to 14.5% alcohol. Noticeable tannins. A little sour on the finish. Drink now and over the next few years, but I'm worried the fruit will fade and just leave the alcohol.

First of all, I believe that 2007 is the best vintage for Napa Cabernet in the last 15-17 years. After quaffing this Crossroads nugget, which was the entry level red wine for Rudd at the time, I'm still firmly convinced of that. This wine drank beautifully after about 30 minutes in the glass. And for those who are still sitting on some of this, there are still some tannins evident on the finish, suggesting perhaps 3-5 more years of life might be left. Drink up!

So good and on point...!!! Dark, rich, a bit of vanilla and cassis sweetness to it but wonderfully all intertwined! Glad I have a couple more.

Caramel, dark fruits medium to full bodied, still very enjoyable. Fruit is fading but has a few years left.
