This bottle perfectly presented what one would expect from this vintage and appellation. The nose was textbook top end Côte Chalonaise and the first taste and middle were a continuation of the same. Went perfectly with roast quail and farro.

Quite dark in color. Lots of vanilla and blackberry aromas, and a little bit of funk. Wonderfully tart cherries (and pits) and cranberries on the palate. Very soft mouthfeel. Great acidity here that would help this pair with food nicely, also some nice tannic structure on the finish.

Holds up very well. Good acidity and blanced structure. Mature and drinkable with medium length and pleasant finish.

Similar notes to last time. Acidity will keep this going for quite a few years yet.

Another crystal clear PN. Enjoyed it on Valentine's Day. This one again showed a tight backend that will last for at least 10 yrs.
