Completely asleep and unbalanced...hope once it wakes up it will turn from the ugly duckling into a beautyful swan. Considering the way this wine presents itself at the moment there is a long way to go for this fairy tale to come true.

Leroy Masterclass with Gilles DESPREZ (Caveau Wine & Bar, Shaw): Alcohol :: 13% Iron, earth, meatiness, darker fruits and a tad of stewed cherry, heat damage? Light to medium bodied. A tad rustic mouth feel with the edgy tannin that introduce a bit more power and muscle. Not really showing, some sour cherry and lot of mineral and savory meatiness. Good grip and intense finish. Just not that complex now. Need more bottle age to develop better secondary nuances as well as tannic structure to integrate. 87-88+

Utter disappointment. Jangly and incoherent. I sure hope it improves with age.

Some oak - fairly closed. Clean and fruity with some tannin. Should be left for a while.
