There are some nice earth and spice notes in the nose, but the palate is so utterly dominated by acid that it's difficult to enjoy this wine. Maybe if you're gnawing on a peice of raw bacon, maybe. Day two saw only a slight improvement. I don't think any amount of time is going to bring this wine into balance. And this is coming from an acid junky.

Beautiful ruby color. Nose has lots of cranberry, spice and some barnyard. Palate is dominated by subtle red fruit and acid. So acidity that it hurt! I would recommend this with only the fattiest foods!

Very pretty ruby red color. A bit of barnyard on the nose. Sour cherry, dust, oak, quite tannic but not enough to be unpleasant. Medium finish.
