Slow-ox'ed for several hours before decanting. Wonderful lush nose of wild strawberry, cassis and rose water. Palate of black cherry, strawberry with dry, integrated tannins. Long, wonderful spiced plum and gunpowder finish. Superb Beaune and a real surprise, almost criminally good at this price point in a so-so vintage.
