Medium body, bright ruby red. Intense but very delicate red fruits aroma complemented by tobacco and spicy oak. Raspberry and strawberry palate following by lingering rounding finish. Well concentrated, deep and complex but silky and easy drinking, balanced, vital acidity and fine tannins. Food friendly, well pairing to coq au vin. Serve 16ºC - 18ºC. Open half hour ahead. Late mature, drink now but should be enjoyable four years more or so.

From 750. To generalize at Chanson, 30% max new oak on reds, 20% max new oak on whites.
Beaune Bressandes is a Domaine bottling for Chanson.
Still showing some kernel to the nose. 2009 is a more opulent and lower acid vintage. Fruit takes the back seat on the palate. Again, a little spice on the palate.
