  Hot as heck, smelling of gin and licorice and raisins. Bitter and alcoholic. Stewed fruit. Completely cracked up. Dumped. Can't believe the Garandeau family would put their name on this.

  Still drinking well. Bit of tar, plenty black plum and blackberry fruits. Solid structure, medium length.

Good: a fair and honest bottle, holding up well after 10 years and will give more pleasure I am sure.

  Purchased on recommendation from store worker. Nice little mature and inexpensive wine from a great vintage. No complaints. Would drink again but not seek out.

  Deep ruby. Shedload of dark fruits, blackberry and plum. Wall of tannin. Bit of dark meatiness. Decent acidity, moderate length. But immoderate alcohol. Much better the next evening with a great grilled steak.
