Not blind, next to 2003 Rouget Beaumonts. Different class. No offense to the Beaumonts, but this is just silky elegant powerhouse. The somewhat muted fruit with all wines today does not stop it from displaying tremendous energy. 94-96

Zachys Pre-Paulee Fete (Lafayette - New York NY): Very interesting in this flight, I certainly hope this Meo 2003 transforms like the Rouget 1997 into something showing more terroir and less ripe vintage. This was an ultra ripe Burg, all back fruit with great spice and density. Good now, great potential.

La Paulee 2015 Dark rich and exotic red and black berries. A touch compact and a bit dry, but still very nice.
