The wine needed time open and was best after a couple of hours of decanting. The color is deep ruby core to pink rim. The nose was primarily red fruit. The mouth is red fruit, cherry, and pomegranate, white pepper. Overall the wine is medium to full body with a long finish. Tannins are medium + with medium + acidity that fills the mouth.

Dark red with slight fading at the rim. Deep berry nose. The fruit is deeply textured and intense, blackberry, blueberry, accented by floral notes. Nicely resolved tannins still lending a firm structure to the wine. Great acidity and balance. Finishes long with dark fruits. Drinking beautifully right now and I think for 3 to 5 years more.

My last bottle of this delightful Rhone Ranger. Simply delicious and for my palate indistinguishable from a good CdP. Dark fruits, licorice, earth, herbs. Great concentration and balance. If you still have these i would say it i drinking at peak.
