Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 88 points

  • SIGHT: Pale Straw with silver tint, medium concentration and viscocity; NOSE: grapefruit, granny smith apple, peach, apricot; PALATE: slightly off-dry, chalk, grapefruit, peach, apricot, wet rock; ASSESSMENT: medium alcohol, medium plus acidity, medium complexity and finish. Residual sugar left in wine to create better balance. I felt the wine came off much too ripe for Sancerre. Not typical as there was no grassy or herbal notes. This wine was more typical of Vouvray.
