  • Medium maroon. Very new world nose, fresh ripe black cherry on a black forest cake, western herbs, quite hot. Black cherry bubblegum on the palate with traces of roasted herbs, balanced and good weight, medium-full bodied, dense but soft. Smooth short black cherry liqueur finish with notes of tea leaves.
The quality is very satisfactory for a wine of just 8.xx pounds, though not outstanding. One can meet a lot of new-world wines of this quality everyday. Fairly good QPR, will try another vintage.
