Intense ruby red. Easy nose, but intense and typical. Must notes with lots of cherries and strawberries. Fresh at taste, slightly tannic. An easy drink, with chewy red fruits at closing. This was Actually a 2016 AiS Rom: 80/84 2017

I want to like Lambrusco (it seems the urbane thing to do) and this is my first effort, but I don’t like this wine. Grapey, thin, and unsavory. Like a blend of soda water and grape syrup. In fairness, one reviewer found bliss in pairing a Lambrusco with a simple dish of hot pasta in a marinara sauce and so that’s what I tried. I think that not a good combo, but that this wine on its own as an aperitif on a hot summer day could be very refreshing
Always have a bottle of this around as it goes for almost any casual situation. Poolside sipping, pizza night, BBQ, burgers, thanksgiving, etc. A nice supporting acidity gives way to blackberry / raspberry cola and a crisp finish. Nicely dry let's you keep drinking without feeling heavy. Great for $13, never know when you'll need it.

Purple violet color with purple delicate mousse. On the nose it shows foxy, earthy, dark cherry, berry, spice and a bit of dried herb aromas. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, dry and well-balanced with a hint of dusty tannins on the back end with black cherry, black grape, and a hint of spice flavors.

Pshh, I dunno what people are all in a pucker about, this is actually pretty decent. Especially for the price point. Refreshing, round, and balanced.
