Really enjoyed this with some smelly cheese. Still has very good structure and a fine bead. The wine looks Crimson colored. The legs are Medium. The body is Medium/Full. The wine has Smooth texture. The wine finishes Medium.

Have been drinking these over the last 6-7 years. Quite possibly the best sparking shiraz I have had. Palate expresses typical medium bodied HV shiraz, extremely well balanced and showing the benefits of some bottle age. Only have one left, might have to give them a call. Love it!

Three days in the Hunter Valley, 13 Cellar Doors, 115 wines; 2/24/2011-2/26/2011 (Hunter Valley, Australia): Smells of a typical Shiraz with pretty big, up front fruit. The palate has some great bubbles, again with typical Shiraz flavors which feels a little weird in a sparkling wine. There's a strong acidic streak on the palate, but that's coupled with an off-putting metallic streak as well. You can definitely taste some age on this. It's kind of bitter and slightly oxidized. Woodsy as well. Tastes old. In fact, it tastes like the cork. Not "corked", but tastes like cork, as if its going. bummer.

My last one, big fan of this wine and have been drinking them for 10 is years, a proper Lindemans wine without Fosters meddling.
