Note : 17/20 soit 94/100

Year 2 - Super Tasting 5 of 5 - Greg does Loire (Greg's House - Kitchener, ON): Here we go...this was much nicer... Pure perfumed flowers...lush layered fruit....lovely. Palate has great texture...reminds me of the 2007 Pearl Morisette Pinot Noir. You can tell that they worked the lees on this one. Pure red fruit, plum, cherry, flowers and spice. Finish is long layered and lush...almost 93pts.

Year 2 - Super Tasting 5 of 5 - Greg does the Loire (Greg's House): (Tasted Blind, Sancerre Rouge #3) Easily the favourite of the flight, but still a tough value proposition in the scheme of the worldwide Pinot Noir market. Wonderful aromatic complexity with notes of ginger, star anise, raspberry, cranberry, a touch of sawdust and pine. The palate is still just bit hollow and thin for my liking featuring tart red fruit and elevated tough tannins. Medium minus finish in length. The nose is quite pretty but I found the palate a bit difficult.

Through the Heart of France; 11/17/2013-11/25/2013 (Centre, Aubrac, Languedoc and Paris): Deep primary ruby. Some fruit but mostly mint/menthol scents. Full for red Sancerre, unusual anise and pepper with a good dose of wet earth. Big wine, young and tannic. Hardly charming but may be better if the fruit emerges from its shell. The problem is that it is not very Pinot-like right now.
