Blackish pink color. Strawberry with a hint of spice in the nose. Fruity but quite dry with a long drying finish. Seems to be some tannin in it. A very nice match to pork chops! A lot of flavor.

Dark rose color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of strawberries, raspberries and black cherries. Flavors of raspberries, red berries and a hint of strawberry. Bright acidity, medium body. Very dry style of wine. Drink over the next couple of years.

Tempranillo tasting (Weygandt Wines, DC): Extremely basic and lacking in charm. The wine smells of concord grape and astringency. On the palate there is some raciness and verve but the finish is so off-putting. It was drank alongside far more expensive wines, so to be fair, it was not in a proper class, but this is not a wine I would seek out. Perhaps the bottle was not correct as someone noted that it had not been stored optimally.

Dios, Mio, Tempranillo! (Weygandt Wines - Washington, D.C.): bright pink color in the glass. nose is really restrained. maybe just some candy and plastic. on the palate, this tastes hot. it has mouthpuckering acidity, but no fruit whatsoever. i'd rather throw some vodka and cranberry in this glass than finish this wine.

little candy fruit nose, and abrassive acidity on the palate. Undrinkable.
