Award winner with good reason, perhaps our favorite wine of all 2010 tastings. Would have bought a case except $35/bottle. The pinnacle in a very robust portfolio of wines - we must go back, complex, complex, complex, and we should leave for at least 1-2 yrs so that the tannins will mellow and silk out.

A lovely, ripe, new-world meritage. Plum, leather, peppers on the nose. Some earthiness. A full mouthful of wine, very pleasant on the palate an a long finish. Still some tannins but drinking nicely now.

Sour, thin and very disappointing. Way overpriced @ C $38.

Interesting and pleasant. Had a cherry nose and a peppery taste at first , and spicy finish. Noted hints of plum and carmel.
