This was a positive surprise after reading the last few tasting notes
I don’t know the maker or year well but I found this to be a great value find at 35$ - and my bottle was drinking very well
Medium bodied CDP. A previous reviewer described it as flabby which I get to some extent (certainly not “precise” or particularly structured) but fairly bright fruit for its 14 years of age with enough complexity and finish to make me happy with the purchase

Slow-ox for a few hours and then a decant of about 1.5 hours. Dark ruby core. Very herbal nose. Very rich with medium level acidity. Tannins are very lively and provide a lengthy finish which hints at tobacco and anise. A very good deal at under $30.

Medium ruby red color; fresh red fruits but also with a stewed note at the same time; herbs of sage, licorice, and plums; light mouthfeel, more red fruits, raspberry, strawberry, dusty spices, slightly hot, but still elegant.
