- Garnet color with slow forming legs and aromas of sulfur dioxide, burnt match, natural gas, violet and blackberry. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of sulfur dioxide, medicinal and menthol with a full body. Smooth texture with a long finish - Good example of typical New world cab, which is saying a lot, while at the same time it is simply business as usual and nothing unusual. Well balanced and smooth with a nice lomg finish.

Lots of sediment on the cork. Violet and opaque with a crimson edge. Bombastic nose of ripe red fruit (cranberries, cherries, black plumbs, ...) and loamy earth. The palate is more mild but consistent. Medium mouth feel, modest acidity and surprising minerality on the finish. The tannins are my favorite feature. I believe this wine is at its prime. 5+12+16+7=90

Rich and intense, but with some green that I don't think will ever come fully into balance. Tannins quite notable and drying, give it a couple years for them to chill out. Will never be a thing of grace but it is big, intense, and could pair with dinner for a pleasant experience.
