Ok, So I tried this wine with a Gold label and it was outstanding. 92+. Floral, blackberries, even finish. So I order a case and it comes with a white label (the one shown here). This tasted nothing like the first and was truly an average wine. I am a bit put off, expecting the first wine - these were obviously not the same wine, but the same name, winery, and vintage. So if you can get the gold label version (the traditional label) I suspect it will be an outstanding wine. If you get the white label it will likely be average.

Candied aromas of cherry and cassis fruit with some interesting notes of cured meat and black pepper. This is big for a CDR with some chalky tannins and mocha on the finish. If it weren't for the heat and dryness of the vintage this might be too jammy as Grand Veneurs are wont to be, but I liked this more than usual.

Half hour decant, and it needs more time. Dark garnet color. Cherry, spice, cassis and mineral aromas and flavors. Red fruit, mineral, and tannins on the mid-palate. The fruit dissipates and leads to a medium length, dry finish dominated by mineral characteristics. Good QPR.
