  • Tonight, while this was a bit more subdued at fifteen years of age, its still a huge thick chewy Shiraz.
Full bodied, complex, concentrated, full lingering tannins predominate the dense, black and blue berry fruits with hints of liquorice, plum and spice and spicy oak.

  • My last bottle of this premium 2008 Shiraz and it just gets better. Blackberry, plum cassis, pepper and steely granite. Layered and full bodied. My favorite of an 18 bottle selection for our quarterly wine group dinner.

  • Blackberry, boysenberry and white pepper on the palate. Alcohol and tannins have become nicely integrated. Still spectacular but beginning to show its age. This has become a mature Shiraz, lacking the steely, granite notes from its younger days.

  • Almost 4 years exactly since I last tried this and still spectacular with plenty of life still left. Deep, opaque, indigo color. Berry and a bit of smoke on the nose. If anything, some of the roughness of the spice has diminished ( but not by much), to be augmented by sweet, blackberry and raspberry fruit. Spectacular!
