(12.5%) 55% Malbec, 45% Sangiovese - I thought this might make for an interesting combo and given the price point, though wary, decided to give it a try. Nice light pink hue (what ultimately convinced me to buy it). The nose is a combination of floral, fruit and mineral notes. Juicy raspberry starts the palate with a tart acidity emerging before an overly dry finish. This wine is certainly drinkable though not refreshing or enjoyable. While I can't complain given the price point next time I will trust my instincts. Rather than drinking it on its own pair it with some cold cuts for lunch if you find it in your possession.
