Interesting to read those mixed results. Had a flawed bottle before but this one was really good. OK, not a very structured wine anymore but nice ripe strawberry jam which went nicely with a swiss cheese fondue. I would drink up.

Pours a light ruby to pink at the edges. Throwing some sediment. Big humid nose of forest floor, sweet blackberry, rawhide, hard candy. Funk'd Burgundian nose in some respects. Fruit forward with a shrill finish. Tart strawberry, raspberry with high notes of citric lemon and sour. Thin and light bodied. Has some redeeming qualities. Not as horrid as portrayed, yet I detect brett. Day 2+ definitely reveals the acidic sour peculiar notes that brett applies with the musty finish note. There's complexity yes, but in a brett way...drain pour remaining 1/2.

(Torbreck Juveniles) Group's #8 (my #8) – 86 pts.; 0, 0, 1, 7 – deeper, black fruit nose with savory notes and hotness; hot entry, concentrated tart red fruit, cherry, with a vanilla edge and Balsamic toward short-medium finish

Private dinner with friends. (@ MWe): I cannot describe this. Sour cherries. Very unpleasant. Flawed bottle.
