  The wine boasts a dark, inky color and exudes aromas of black fruits, leather, spices, and floral notes. Full-bodied and powerful, with concentrated flavors of blackberry, black cherry, licorice, and oak, supported by firm tannins and well-integrated acidity. The wine has a long and persistent finish.

  So much better than when last tasted 10 years ago; this wine in my opinion needs age to shed its brutal alcohol and power so present in its youth; dark colour; pleasant mix of spices, coffee and licorice; nice smooth attack, followed by lots of spices, mild tannins, dark tones; perhaps a bit rough in the edges, but a nice, quite masculine, wine (which needs age)

  There are brooding black fruits, coffee, earth and oak on the heady nose. Rich, savory palate loaded with mulled black berries, plums and cherries as well as smoky oak, coffee grounds and tilled, organic soil. This has aged wonderfully! Drink now-2028 93

  4.0 .Deep garnet. Lots of sediment floating around.
  Cherry and raspberry, oak spice.
  Dry, medium acid, tannins are light and super rounded and old. Full body. Palate is cooked cherry, earth, clove, spice, leather, mushroom. Finish is medium, toward leather and mushroom.
  This wine is at the end of its life, one more bottle in the cellar needs to go quick.
  Very good.
