Apricot and yellow peach, honey. Higher residual sweetness without being syrupy with high acidity to balance it, and a slightly bitter finish when warm (think peach skins).

We tasted this at the winery. My friend bought a bottle. Very reasonable price, this is a wine that wine snobs might turn-up their noses to. But not I! I find it respectable in flavour, even if not very complex. Good (80.5).

Good but not as good as Black Star or St Julian’s Late Harvest Riesling

Sweetness out of balance. A bit bitter and lots of minerals that distract from the fruit. An ok sweet Riesling.

Not very complex, but great notes of peach and honey in both taste and aroma and some decent acidity to balance sweetness.
