Drinking well, and held up. Slight fruit and a lot of tertiary flavors. Probably be drinkable for a while yet, and our group drank it with gusto. Cheers!

Chocolate cover pomegranate seeds with tart raspberry cream. High acid medium body very dry red wine with a tannic frame and a long juicy finish. Bracing acidity feels nearly Chablis like. Pairing with a meatball sub didn't work, but on its own afterwards was delightful. Lots of fun.

Very clear and vibrant in color. Red with typical red bricking on the rim. Judging from the legs about 13% alcohol. Nose is cherries, coco, cedar, tar and roses (of course!). Tannins are fully integrated and only show their presence on the finish, which is rather short for a barbaresco at about 20 seconds. Tart cranberry favor minggled with a very true grape flavor that s quite fresh a delicious for a wine that is 20 years old.
If you have this I your cellar, it probably won't get much better; drink up. The tannins could possibly integrate into the structure more, but at the expense of fading fruit...and after all this is Nebbiolo. If you can't take the tannic structure, get your ass out of the cellar.
All in all, an average barbaresco that is aged to perfection.

Silky smooth mature barbaresco. A nice treat.
